20 Seconds of Joy had its Premiere and won the “Best Documentary on Mountain Sports” as well as the “Audience Award” at the Banff Mountain Film Festival in 2007.
Yet Jens Hoffmann is the only filmmaker, who received the award for ‘Best Documentary on Sports’ three years consecutively (Fatima’s Hand in 2006, 20 Seconds of Joy in 2007 and Journey to the Center in 2008) at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the most prestigious and recognized film festival worldwide for the genre of sport, adventure and culture.
