It is with a sad heart I say goodbye to a friend and a fellow BASE jumper who has influenced us on so many levels that it is hard to comprehend the loss.

Your approach to life, shining persona and positive impact on everyone around you will remain a good memory of a friend who just loved his life.
We are fortunate to live the kind of life many people can only dream of and the experiences this lifestyle gives us cannot be measured or counted in years.

It is incomprehensible, it is unfair and sometimes the world can be full of friends but still feel empty because one special friend is gone…
I miss you Ueli, I cherish the moments we had together and you will always be with me in my heart.

Extreme weather has never stopped us before, so the movie was on!
Jens and I introduced the movie for the almost 300 spectators who had made it in time, before we sat down to watch the film.
Through the entire duration of the film, 1 hour, it felt like my heart had gotten stuck in my throat and it was pounding so hard that I was afraid to disturb the others sitting next to me. I cant remember last time I have been this nervous…
When the movie ended and the text was rolling down the screen, the audience were still quiet like mice. I was almost wondering if they had all fallen asleep. When the last words faded out and the screen went black, the audience burst out in applause and definitely not sleeping at all. They cheered us on to the stage and we got to say a good thank you to everybody who has been involved!
Almost the whole crew who has been working with the film during these last 7 years were there and they all got a well deserved applause from the audience.

The hours that followed were filled with too much positive feedback and too many compliments that I am too shy to write about it…
All I can say is thank you to F24Film, Jens and Cleo, for continuing to believe in our story through all these years,
to everyone who has made this project possible,
and thank you for all the support and trust I have been given!

The tour will go on… next stop Paris!

Sorry that this post obviously did not get posted the day it was created, but it is better now than never… I miss you Shane!

I have alot of friends attending the competition, but most importantly, I wanted to be there to support my friend Geraldine Fasnacht. She got injured last winter and could not attend, but this year she was back strong. This event is pretty special as the face they are riding is gnarly steep and you dont want to fall pretty much anywhere… if you do fall, you will have to wish for a guardian angel!

I woke up early sunday morning in chamonix and drove over the pass to Switzerland with my boyfriend Hernan. We arrived, stressed as always due to lack of time, to beautiful sunny weather and an amazing crowd that had showed up. I met Aurelien Ducroz brother who had made his way from Slovenia where he had made huge fan-banners for Aurelien. Thats the kind of brother you want! It turned out that the banners came in good use later as Aurelien took off with the first place in the mens, alpine class! Aurelien and I have been on the Dynastar team and traveled the world together in search for powder for years. He really deserved this victory, congrats Aure!!

Geraldine had been a little unsure of wether she should join this comp this year or not, but after testing out her shape and skills at the World Tour in Tignes (where she won), she decided to go for it. It was definitely the right decision as she ripped on the mountain! I´m so proud of you Ge, you deserve this victory more than anyone!! The best!

Also amazing was that my fellow Norwegian, Ane Enderud, won the womens alpine class. Ane is a super strong skier and when I watched her ride earlier this winter in Chamonix, she made me feel proud to be a female skier!! Ane´s dad and brother had come down to watch her and I have seldom seen a more proud dad! With reason!! Super stoked for you Ane!!

After the comp had finished, I took off to the airport in Geneva to go back to Austria and the Red Bull training center. In one day I actually manage to sweep through 4 countries… woke up in France, drove to Switzerland, flew to Germany and drove to Austria where I went to bed! We are getting so international, its amazing!

We have been shooting all kinds of different situations and talked about everything from systematic training philosophies to childhood dreams and then naturally to  the porn-industry. All subjects which were equally important and interesting. (no parallel drawn between childhood dreams and porn though!)

We have been laughing a lot in between our of course serious working, and from the spirit in the team and the sense of humour I have high expectations from the coming article that Andreas Tzortzis will write soon!! Dont mind the preassure Andreas…

I am super psyched to finally be ready and healthy enough to start my treatment at this center because it gives me the feeling of being an athlete in a way… or maybe just normal. All my training until now has been in rehab centers where I have been training with injured people only. Now, for the first time since my accident, I am training like a normal girl. Happy girl.

My fysio, David, and I are sharing the same goal and also belief in how to obtain it. I have never worked with him before, but I believe it is  good sometimes to get some different perspective and new enthusiasm when working on the same issues for over 2,5 years.

We have found good methods to work on the stability and strength in my knee and prepare me the best way possible for the white, frozen stuff that is still out there…

Together with my PT Martin, we have realized that I have a long way to go in order to get back in shape! Good thing time is what I have a lot of!! Martin is the kind of guy you can not trick easily… Although I pretend like I am doing just fine and working out with no hazzle, he checks my blood every 10 minutes and gets the answers by measuring my lactat. I guess you can´t question the facts! Pretty advanced if you ask me…

When you have spent most of the last 2,5 years lying in bed, sitting in a wheelchair and hanging out in rehab centers, your muscles have kind of left on vacation for indefinite time. It is hard to force them back to work, and it is hard to know how much they can work without over doing it. I dont know this body because I have never had it before, so for the first time in my life I will be all about measurements and systematic training. Maybe this is what it had to take to make me grow up…! 

No, seriously, I feel super fortunate to be given this opportunity and to be here with my new team. I might never be able to get back to my 100%, but I know that I am in the right place in order to reach as close to these 100% as possible!

We just finished up Outdoor Games here in Chamonix, France. I was hanging out with the Dynastar posse and the team Focus. Since I am still not skiing it was pretty cool of them to still want to keep me on board and a part of their story.

We had a great team consisting of Aurelien Ducroz and Rachel Burks on skis, Babs Charlet on snowboard, Hernan Pitocco as paraglider, Francois Bon as a speedrider, Seb Collomb-Gros as BASE jumper and Fanfan Dan as ice climber/mountaineer … and me as the guest participant.

The concept of the competition is to make a movie of 5 minutes, with a storyline, of 5 different sports in 5 days… It is a super intense week with a lot of work, but also a lot of fun and good laughs! The weather is not always cooperating so it can get pretty stressy at times.

We started filming on Sunday morning and managed to get some good skiing shots in between the clouds. The days that followed our film crew were running in between all the crazy activities we were trying to put together and then trying to shoot the story line with me…

At the end of the week we had completed our mission and made a story based on the 5 senses you possess… We tried to transform the senses into action and the 5 sports we were doing. I can assure you that it is way more difficult to communicate your ideas into a film than in your own head!! Anyway, this is our result.
